Partial Submissions

Kiteform allows you to capture form data even if a respondent doesn't click the submit button.

Imagine being able to view incomplete submissions from respondents who haven’t finished your form. Partial submissions enable you to gather data from lost leads, identify drop-off points, and improve your form's conversion rates.

Partial Submissions are available for Kiteform Pro users.

For security reasons, signatures are not saved as partial submissions. Additionally, partial submissions cannot be synced with other applications via integrations and will not trigger email notifications.

Enable Partial Submissions

1. Open Your Form: Click on Settings and enable Partial Submissions. New partial submissions will be displayed in your Submissions tab going forward, but we do not store partial submissions from the past.
2. Note: Partial submissions are only captured when this setting is enabled. Turning it on won't reveal old partial submissions since they are collected only while the setting is active.

View Partial Submissions

Partial submissions are not shown in the Summary tab of your submissions.

1. Access Submissions: Go to the Submissions section. All form submissions will be visible under the All tab, with partial submissions marked by a specific icon.
2. Filter Partial Submissions: Use the Partial tab to filter and view only partial form submissions.

Partial Submissions and Integrations

Partial submissions cannot be exported using integrations or trigger email notifications.

If you wish to export partial submissions, go to the Partial tab and click Download CSV.
